Rehabilitation Clerk (Temporary Part Time, 6 Months)Job Title: Rehabilitation Clerk *REPOST*Status: Temporary Part Time (6 Months)Department: Physio -Cc & Rehab Program, LHAPProgram: Healthy AgingHours: 8 Hour Shifts, Days Schedule (Subject to Change)Location: Lakeridge Health Ajax-PickeringWage: $28.980 - $30.290 per hourDuties and ResponsibilitiesScreen referrals for completeness, dictionary tasks, changes and edits in the Community Wide Scheduling module, schedule and pre-register all scheduled patients in the admission module; In collaboration with the PCM and Clinical Supervisor, determine the level of prioritization based on the prioritization tool; Be aware of and meet booking timelines and targets; Reschedule patients as necessary, billing and performing a wide range of clerical duties necessary for the efficient functioning of the ARC.QualificationsMedical Office Administration Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required; Proven knowledge of medical terminology (tested); Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (tested – basic level); Proven keyboardingskills of 30 wpm (tested); Relevant clerical experience in an outpatient hospital setting preferred; Recent relatedexperience in a rehab or physiotherapy clinic an asset; Experience with EPIC and Community Wide Scheduling module mandatory requirement; Proven knowledge of Meditech Admission module; Knowledge of booking/scheduling Rehabilitation procedures; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to foster good public relations and effective working relationships; Ability to work productively, independently and as a member of a team,
