Become a vital part of the Correctional Services Division as a Sentence Administrator, focusing on documentation and data entry in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and experience in criminal justice.
As a Sentence Administrator, reporting to the Manager of Sentence Administration, you will handle admissions, releases, and court documentation for individuals in custody. Experience in Courts, Corrections, or policing is essential, along with proficiency in computer applications. You will ensure maintaining accurate data in the Justice Enterprise Information Network (JEIN), addressing high-risk situations, and preparing necessary reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document admissions and releases accurately
• Input data into the Justice Enterprise Information Network
• Communicate with court and facility staff regularly
• Interpret warrants and court orders effectively
• Conduct information searches and prepare reports
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and five years' relevant experience
• Related experience in law, Corrections, or policing
• Proficient in typing and standard computer applications
• Must demonstrate robust organizational skills
• Experience with JEIN is an asset
Drive efficiency and accuracy in the criminal justice system as a Sentence Administrator within the Correctional Services Division.
