SGS is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Safety Inspector to ensure contractor adherence to safety protocols on construction sites. The role will require frequent travel and on-site inspections.
As the Senior Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing safety compliance in various construction projects. This includes validating contractor safety documents, conducting pre-construction hazard assessments, and promoting a proactive safety culture. Your insights will help prevent accidents and ensure that safety standards are not only met but exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist project management with safety scope assessments
• Verify compliance with safety documents in office
• Perform inspections and report safety discrepancies




• Conduct safety orientations for site personnel
• Lead safety improvement initiatives and follow up
Requirements:
• Minimum of 8 years of industrial safety experience
• Preferred degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety
• API 1169 and 1184 certifications are a plus
• Must be ready to travel for fieldwork
• Required training in recognized safety programs
