OBLIGATIONS

- Remplir les rapports quotidiens d’inspection et de sécurité
- Livrer et décharger les matériaux chez les clients
- S’assurer que tous les documents légaux requis sont à jour et présents dans le véhicule en tout temps
- Aviser le superviseur ou le directeur de succursale de toute divergence concernant les livraisons
- Aviser le superviseur ou le directeur de succursale de toute condition de travail dangereuse
- Vérifier l’exactitude des chargements avant de quitter la succursale
- Décharger et charger les expéditions manuellement et/ou à l’aide d’un chariot élévateur
- Respecter les limites de poids des chargements et les exigences d’arrimage
- Maintenir un camion sécuritaire, propre et bien organisé
- Suivre les formations en santé et sécurité et respecter en tout temps les politiques et procédures




- Maintenir en tout temps une relation cordiale avec les clients
- Aider à l’entrepôt pour le chargement et le déchargement du camion au besoin
- Préparer la documentation de façon soignée et précise
- Aider à l’entrepôt au besoin

EXPÉRIENCE ET QUALIFICATIONS

- Permis valide de classe 1 ou 3
- Expérience de conduite classe 1 ou 3
- Expérience avec chariot élévateur
- Capacité à effectuer des opérations mathématiques de base (addition, soustraction, multiplication et division)
- Bonne connaissance de toutes les politiques et procédures en matière de santé et de sécurité, ainsi qu’une compréhension des pratiques de travail sécuritaires
- Autonome et capable de travailler dans un environnement dynamique
- Capacité à bien travailler en équipe
- Capacité à soulever des charges de 50 lb et plus
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Complete daily inspection/safety reports
- Deliver and unload material to customers
- Ensure required legal documents are up to date and in the vehicle at all times
- Advise supervisor or Branch Manager of any discrepancies with deliveries




- Advise Supervisor or Branch Manager of unsafe working conditions
- Check loads for accuracy prior to leaving the branch
- Unload and load shipments manually and/or with the use of lift truck
- Comply with load weight and secure load restrictions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized truck
- Complete safety training as well as follow policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain a friendly rapport with customers at all times
- Assist in warehouse with loading/unloading of truck as needed
- Prepare paperwork neatly and accurately
- Assist in warehouse with serving customers when needed

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid Class 1 license or 3 Class 1-3 driving experience
- Lift Truck experience
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Good knowledge of all Health and Safety policies and procedure and understanding of safe work practices
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 50lbs and up
- Ability to work independently
