Dog Walker- Part-time A busy family in Squamish is seeking a reliable, active, and responsible Dog Walker to provide regular walks for their two huskies.

This is a part-time role ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys dogs, loves being outdoors, and is comfortable with active, approximately one-hour walks. The right candidate will be dependable, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time: Approximately 7–10 hours per week, with flexibility for the right candidate

Hourly rate: $23–$25/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

- Regular dog walking, including active walks of approximately one hour
- Providing exercise and companionship for the dog
- Maintaining a consistent walking routine
- Ensuring the dog's safety and well-being while out on walks
- Being comfortable walking in typical Squamish weather
- Providing fresh water and basic care following walks, as needed




- Communicating with the family regarding the dog's walks, behaviour, or any concerns
- Other occasional dog-care tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate
- Genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them
- Active and comfortable walking for approximately one hour at a time
- Comfortable being outdoors in all types of weather
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Patient and attentive to a dog's needs and behaviour
- Comfortable working independently
- Previous experience walking or caring for dogs is an asset
- Reliable transportation required
