Position Details

- Position Title: Pre‑loaders
- Position Type: Permanent
- Work Hours: 4:00AM – 9:00AM*
- Workdays: Monday to Friday*
- Location: Madsen Rd, Nanaimo BC
- Shift schedules may vary based on operational requirements

Responsibilities

- Preloaders are responsible for unloading and loading packages off and on trailers, air canisters and other vehicles early in the morning.
- Lifting, lowering, and moving of packages weighing between 10 to 70lbs.
- Scanning and sorting packages based on postal codes, addresses, package dimensions.
- Understanding and recognizing postal codes, routing charts and maps.
- Standing closely with conveyor, roller belts and other equipment in the warehouse.
- Working in a team environment to ensure efficient transfer of packages.

Qualifications

- Available to work Monday to Friday*
- Ability to follow set of safety and standard procedures; Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment; Able to regularly and safely lift packages between 10-lbs up to 70-lbs unassisted;
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.




- Warehouse experience is considered an asset but not required.
- All candidates must go through a series of interviews, background and reference checks.
