The role requires strong communication and behavioral management skills, along with specific qualifications such as an Educational Assistant Diploma or relevant experience in supporting children with special needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special needs in classroom settings
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to enhance learning
- Facilitate engaging and supportive learning environments
- Maintain records of student progress and behaviors Requirements:
- EA/CYW certification or relevant post-secondary degree/diploma
- Minimum one year experience with special needs children
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass Physical Demands test
