Play a pivotal role as an Advisor, EHS at AltaGas in Slave Lake, focusing on creating a robust safety culture. You will ensure compliance with safety initiatives and support employee training programs to maintain a secure working environment. Reporting to the Team Lead, Environment, Health & Safety Midstream, the EHS Advisor is instrumental in promoting safety compliance and supporting training initiatives at the Slave Lake facility.

You will be involved in incident management, emergency preparedness, and liaising between employees and the corporate EHS team to uphold safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct safety onboarding for new hires and contract workers
- Maintain employee safety certifications and training records




- Participate in incident investigations and action follow-ups
- Coordinate workplace inspections and audits for compliance
- Support the Emergency Response Program and training

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years in oil and gas safety or related field
- Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with travel availability
