This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with a strong interest in technology, innovation, and improving the way lawyers work.ResponsibilitiesWork with lawyers and business teams to identify workflow challenges and opportunities for improvementAnalyze legal processes and develop practical, technology-enabled solutionsResearch, evaluate, and test legal technology, AI tools, and workflow solutionsDevelop prototypes and conduct user testing to assess potential solutionsGather feedback from lawyers and stakeholders and make recommendations based on findingsEvaluate legal technology vendors and products based on functionality, usability, cost, and riskSupport the implementation of successful solutions, including testing, documentation, and trainingIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, knowledge sharing, and the overall user experiencePrepare transparent documentation, requirements, workflow analyses, testing results, and recommendationsStay current with developments in legal technology, generative AI, automation,
and knowledge managementRequirements3+ years of experience in a law firm, legal department, legal operations, or legal technology environmentCurrent or previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Law Clerk, or in a similar legal/business services role is strongly preferredStrong understanding of legal workflows and the day-to-day needs of lawyers and legal professionalsGenuine interest in technology, AI, and finding more efficient ways of workingExperience with legal technology, document management systems, Microsoft 365, workflow automation, or similar toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skillsExcellent communication skills and confidence working directly with lawyers and senior stakeholdersHighly organized, proactive, curious, and solutions-orientedStrong attention to detail and sound judgment when handling confidential informationKnowledge Management, generative AI, or legal technology experience is an assetCompensationSalary up to $95,000, commensurate with experienceOpportunity to transition from a traditional legal role into a dedicated innovation-focused positionHybrid Remote schedule - 4 days in office
