This role is onsite and will work a rotating 12 hour day shift 5am-5pm: Wednesday-Saturday Week 1/Thursday- Saturday Week 2.

The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex. This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc.

Site to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies. The EHS Technician will perform necessary assessments, inventories, and inspections for various environmental and safety regulations. Utilize various software programs for performing updates to existing documents and creating new documentation.

Maintain data pertaining to SDS or Hazcom, Accident Reports, and corrective action. Assist or provide specialized training classes pertaining to environmental and/or safety-related subjects to various personnel within the company. Control and oversee the Personal Protective Equipment program.

Work within established guidelines for the continual improvement of the Environmental Health and Safety Department.



Oversee the Fire Suppression and Extinguisher Inspection Program. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.

Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's in EHS or a related discipline is preferred (or at least in the midst of obtaining a related degree).

Experience 0-2+ years experience in an EHS role within a Manufacturing environment. Solid computer skills (for building reports) including EHSIP and other programs.
