AVRCE strives to provide a thorough hands-on training program, No previous experience is required to apply. Applicants must possess the knowledge and ability to apply current cleaning methods and practices with minimal supervision. Terms and conditions including rate of pay (currently $22.51 per hour) are in accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement Local 3876.

Hours of Work: Flexible schedule. As needed basis, primarily evening hours (2:30PM to 12:00PM). Under the supervision of the Evening Custodial Supervisor, the successful candidates will be required to perform a wide variety of janitorial tasks.

The candidate will take part in the AVRCE janitorial training program, which includes WHMIS, Safe Work Practices and other courses. The training and experience gained as a spare janitor may provide the candidate with opportunity to grow within the organization.
