In this permanent position, you will be responsible for providing quality childcare in a safe, nurturing workplace. You will utilize the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum to develop age-appropriate activities tailored to children's interests. Building strong connections with children, families, and fellow educators will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and lead engaging activities for children
• Build positive relationships with families and children
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
• Provide constant supervision and facilitate transitions
• Use parent communication app for updates
Requirements:
• Basic ECE certification recognized in British Columbia
• Infant Toddler Educator License preferred
• Strong communication skills essential
• Emergency First Aid and CPR-C & AED certification needed
• Current Criminal Record check required
