Security Operations

Perform high visibility patrols by foot, bicycle, or vehicle while engaging with tenants, guests, visitors and employees on a regular basis and provide exemplary customer service and assistance Respond to medical emergencies and provide First Aid, CPR, and AED assistance Prepare detailed incident reports using site reporting systems Monitor security systems and life-safety equipment Must be able to provide verbal or written direction clearly to coordinate incident response, activating emergency services, directing security/operations personnel on required actions during incidents while following established procedures. Review CCTV footage for investigations and follow-up actions Answer and manage incoming security communications Monitor and manage fire alarm and sprinkler systems as required Ensure compliance with site policies, procedures,



and standard operating practices 2+ years previous security experience ~ Valid Alberta Security License or ability to obtain one ~ Excellent customer service skills ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace ~ Experience using CCTV systems and security technology, Ability to operate two-way radio communications ~ Physical ability to conduct extensive patrols exceeding 15 km per shift ~ Ability to work outdoors, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain ~ Physically able to perform first aid and assist with medical emergency and deescalation situations as well as complete extensive security patrols that may cover 15+ km per shift and include stairs and uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors ~ Ability to successfully complete all required Paladin training and certifications within three months of hire ~ Previous experience in retail security environments ~ Competitive hourly compensation Paladin Security: First Aid, De-escalation, UOF, and MOAB training High School Diploma/GED Valid Alberta Security License Paladin Security: We believe in promoting from within, respecting people and their differences, providing high quality service and always having fun!
