Make a difference as a Residential Support Worker at Grace Mansion. This on-call position focuses on empowering residents through supervision, support, and community resources.
The Salvation Army is developing a talent pipeline for future Residential Support Worker positions in Vancouver’s Grace Mansion. In this role, you’ll engage with individuals facing barriers to housing and assist them in gaining stability and independence. Your efforts will help residents navigate personal challenges while promoting overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and monitor resident activities during shifts
• Respond to resident inquiries per established policies
• Support residents in crises and emergencies
• Assist clients in connecting with community resources
• Complete wellness and safety checks consistently
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education is a plus
• Minimum 10 months experience in supportive housing
• First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention training required
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Clearance to work with vulnerable adults essential
Support individuals in a transitional housing setting and contribute to their path to stability while promoting the mission of The Salvation Army.
