Job Summary The Team Lead Pharmacy Operations will work closely with the Supervisor to provide guidance and instruction to the team by delegating work, overseeing progress toward daily operation goals, and coaching team members as needed. The role supports the Supervisor with policy development, risk incident review, and escalation of issues within pharmacy operations.Specific Responsibilities Lead, communicate, coordinate, and interact with all McKesson staff to promote respect, integrity, operational efficiency, and patient‐focused service.Manage operational activities for assigned functional areas.Provide metric‐based updates to the Supervisor at scheduled intervals.Support the Supervisor in developing and executing policies and practices, seeking assistance for unusual situations or staff nonadherence.Review and analyze reports, and obtain data required for planning activities, status of work in progress, and problem resolution.Assist the Supervisor and Quality Assurance team in identifying, investigating, evaluating, and following up on risk incidents and quality issues related to the case management team.Serve as a point of escalation for PSP and provider solutions workflows as needed.Provide regular feedback to the Supervisor regarding quality, operational, technical, and/or process issues involving the program, team, or individuals.Allocate resources as needed to ensure effective delivery of departmental service levels.Identify and report staff scheduling, attendance, or other workforce management issues to the Supervisor regularly.Collaborate with the Supervisor to analyze workforce management, attendance statistics, and activity metrics on a regular basis.Understand technology and communications infrastructure, software applications, databases,



and call processes used in patient services.Assist in troubleshooting basic technical issues and identify education needed for staff or teams to resolve technology problems independently.Work at least one closing shift per week, potentially extending past 8–9pm based on location.Work required weekends as needed, including inventory activities.Key Requirements Knowledge Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Office.Minimum of a Grade12 High School Diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of Kroll Pharmacy Software is an asset.Skills & Abilities Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Team player with strong problem‐solving skills.Quick learner in fast‐paced environments.Self‐starting and able to work independently.Experience 3+ years of retail pharmacy experience.Experience in specialty pharmacy preferred but not required.Supervision and Communication Communicate with PSP, Programs, Pharmacy, Patients, Finance, and Third‐party Insurance providers.What You Gain Leadership and management skills to oversee and develop teams.Data analysis experience to drive operational improvements.Key performance metric management.Team management, multitasking, organization, decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting.Interpersonal skills and experience working with cross‐functional teams.Base Pay Range: $63,000 – $84,000.McKesson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
