Our client is seeking an Estimator with experience in renovations and tenant improvement projects within the institutional and commercial sectors.This role is suited to a detail-oriented construction professional who enjoys analyzing project requirements, developing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating closely with project teams to support successful project delivery. You will play a key role in the pre-construction phase, helping ensure projects are competitively priced and strategically planned.What You’ll Be Responsible ForPreparing detailed cost estimates for renovation and tenant improvement projects. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation to determine scope. Soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing. Completing quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns. Identifying project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.



Participating in bid preparation, tender submissions, and proposal development. Maintaining relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. Supporting pre-construction planning and budgeting activities. Assisting project teams with cost information during project start-up. Tracking historical cost data and maintaining estimating databases.What We’re Looking For3–7+ years of construction estimating experience. Experience estimating renovation and tenant improvement projects. Background in institutional or commercial construction environments. Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and scope analysis. Experience using estimating software and construction management tools. Robust analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
