Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing and assembling floral arrangements, bouquets, and plant displays to meet customer specifications and seasonal themes
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace, including tools, supplies, and display areas
- Support landscape maintenance tasks such as watering plants, pruning flowers, and caring for indoor and outdoor greenery
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and enhance their shopping experience through friendly communication
- Handle cash register operations including POS transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and professionalism
- Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves, arranging displays attractively, and ensuring product freshness and quality




- Contribute to e-commerce initiatives by preparing online orders for delivery or pickup when needed

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or floral assistance is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for engaging diverse customers
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering best practices
- Passion for gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, and plant care techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with merchandising principles and customer service excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when needed
