Make a difference as a Case Manager with the British Columbia Teachers' Federation (BCTF). This full time, temporary role until December 2026 focuses on disability case management and rehabilitation support. As a Case Manager, you will oversee Salary Indemnity Plan cases, assess member eligibility for rehabilitation services, and manage long-term disability applications.
With over five years of experience in disability claims management, you’ll need strong communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills. This role emphasizes social justice and collaboration in support of BC's public school teachers. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assess SIP cases for individual members
- Coordinate the processing of Long Term Disability applications
- Evaluate rehabilitation consultants and service quality
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate clearly with claimants regarding complex issues
Requirements:
- Minimum five years in disability case management
- University degree in Health or Social Science
- Knowledge of disability management and regulations
- Ability to handle a demanding workload
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
