An Edmonton client is seeking a Gas Compression Technician: Journeyperson HET, Millwright, or Automotive Technician to join their team.

Gas Compression Technician Highlights:

- Diagnose mechanical and operational failures on gas compression engines.
- Troubleshoot no-start conditions, surging, RPM fluctuations, leaks, and performance issues.
- Perform failure analysis and identify root causes.
- Complete major overhauls and rebuilds on large natural gas engines.
- Replace and repair engine components and systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Travel to customer sites throughout Grande Prairie and surrounding regions.
- Complete service documentation and reporting.
- Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams.
- Operate a fully tooled company service truck.
- Follow all company and customer safety procedures.

Requirements:

- Journeyperson HET, Millwright, or Automotive Technician certification required.




- Minimum 2+ years of gas compression experience required (Gemini, Ariel, Waukesha, etc.).
- Large engine experience considered a strong asset.
- Previous field/service truck experience required.
- Open to field work and rotational schedules.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

Hours & Wage:

- Full time | Field Service | Grande Prairie, AB
- $54.00-$60.00/hour
- Field premium, shift premium, per diem, and overtime available
- Rotational schedules: 5x2, 7x7, or 14x14
- Primarily 12-hour day shifts with consistent overtime opportunities
