Join a well-established, tight-knit formwork team and play a key role in keeping crews safe across Bosa Construction projects. Working alongside multi-generational formwork crews, site leadership, subcontractors, and the Health & Safety team, this is a hands-on role where you’ll identify risks, provide practical guidance, and help promote a robust culture of safety across the field. Key Responsibilities

Provide safety support and guidance to site teams, formwork crews, and subcontractors; Conduct site inspections, audits, and spot checks focused on formwork and concrete operations; Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to address safety risks; Review and support safe work procedures for formwork, shoring, reshoring, stripping, concrete placement, fall protection, and hoisting; Support incident investigations, reporting, and follow-up; Monitor subcontractor compliance with Company and regulatory safety requirements; Provide safety coaching, training, and toolbox talks to field teams; Partner with site leadership to identify risks and improve safety performance.

The ideal

Health & Safety Manager

is an experienced construction safety professional with strong knowledge of high-rise concrete and formwork operations. You are hands-on, approachable, and confident working with field teams and leadership to identify risks and implement practical solutions. Skills and Experience

7+ years of construction health and safety experience, preferably in high-rise concrete/formwork; Experience in a safety leadership or supervisory role; Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and construction safety requirements; Knowledge of formwork, shoring/reshoring, fall protection, hoisting, and concrete operations; Strong communication and relationship-building skills; Experience conducting inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations; NCSO, CRSP, or equivalent certification considered an asset; Reliable transportation and ability to travel between active construction sites.
