Reporting directly to the Chief Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for the operation and control of steam and high-pressure boilers, along with wastewater treatment and cooling tower systems. You will monitor equipment issues, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and operate essential ancillary equipment within a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and operate plant boilers and refrigeration systems
• Respond to equipment issues and alarms promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety rules using required PPE




• Maintain water quality in treatment and cooling systems
• Keep work area organized, safe, and free of hazards
Requirements:
• Completed Second Class Boiler/Power Engineer Ticket
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent knowledge
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills
• Ability to participate in shift rotations and overtime
