May require supervision from more experienced technicians or technical staff to perform assembly, modification, or simple test bench validation tasks. May be required to test simple electronic assemblies, passive or active telecommunications equipment, and chamber monitoring on more complex equipment. Perform preventive maintenance operations.

Assist more experienced technicians or technologists. Must be able to assist in performing the tests below under the supervision of engineering or a more experienced technician, depending on the assignment: Maintenance ~ Basic knowledge of the discipline and some experience in maintaining tooling, devices with programmable logic controllers, and containing mechanical elements.

Education: DEC or equivalent in mechanical, electromechanical, electrotechnical, electronic engineering,



or a related field depending on the assignment.

Language Proficiency Level: Comfortable in spoken and written French and English. (Successful candidates must obtain and hold a Level II (SECRET) security clearance and successfully pass the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) security assessment.
