The Licensed Practical
Nurse plays a crucial role within the Unit 3F3 Surgery Program, providing patient-centered nursing in an acute surgical setting. As an LPN, you will assess and implement care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for ensuring safety and delivering high-quality patient care through your critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Monitor and document patient changes effectively
- Provide teaching and counseling for patients and families
- Assist patients with daily living activities
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nurse program
- Active or eligible registration with CLHA
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Robust interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
