Acuren is currently recruiting for a Machinist to join our team and support the sour gas corrosion testing lab in Calgary, AB . The finished products produced by our machine shop are primarily NACE corrosion test specimens machined from oil and gas tubular products. Under the direction of the Machinist Foreman, the Machinist provides assistance and support by setting up and operating precision metal cutting and grinding machines such as lathes, milling machines, saws, drills and grinders, and preparing test coupons, samples or components made from metals, plastics, rubber textiles and fibreglass, while following Acuren’s standard operating procedures and process maps.
