Join our Infrastructure & Engineering team and help drive strategic projects, operational excellence, financial stewardship, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives that support the delivery of critical transit services across the organization.

You will play a key role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the Infrastructure Group. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project plans that support business continuity, operational efficiency, and departmental objectives while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The position will lead the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Infrastructure Group and support the coordination of departmental work plans to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

You will also lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of processes, procedures, and continuous improvement programs, providing strategic direction and support to project teams. They will monitor project goals, timelines, and budgets, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and facility improvement programs, and provide independent analysis, recommendations, and guidance to support informed decision-making and corrective actions. This role is accountable for developing and managing departmental budgets, monitoring expenditures, analyzing financial variances, and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.

The successful candidate will assess workforce planning requirements, identify financial impacts and resource constraints, and collaborate with management and external stakeholders to address issues affecting organizational performance.

Responsibilities also include preparing and overseeing integrated cost and schedule forecasts, managing contingency drawdowns, and providing expert guidance to senior management on financial and budgetary matters.



The role also supports audit and compliance activities, including audit planning, analysis, corrective action monitoring, implementation, and effectiveness reviews. The incumbent will prepare reports, written analyses, and audit dashboards, communicate findings to stakeholders, and maintain all aspects of program data collection, retention, and documentation to support regulatory and organizational requirements.

Create, document, and manage information and records Understand and apply administrative policies, processes, and procedures Use office technology, software and applications You have completed a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline (Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration) or combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.

Project Management

Professional (PMP) certification is an asset. Completion of a recognized accounting designation is an asset.

Experience in a transit operating environment is an asset. You have extensive knowledge of business administration practices combined with knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and rules

- You have knowledge of transit operations and experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- You possess strong knowledge of research methods and techniques combined with an aptitude for developing project plans, proposals and action plans; strong leadership, management, and decision making skills; well-developed technical, analytical and problem solving skills;

Experience leading projects independently and communicating project plans and results to stakeholders

- Excellent administrative, investigative, analytical and problem solving abilities
- Superior verbal/written communication skills, strong interpersonal, presentation and report writing skills;

Experience handling multiple projects and making evidence based business decisions in a timely manner

- Knowledge of emergency preparedness and continuity of operations planning
- Possession of a valid,



non-probationary, Province of Ontario class “G” driver’s licence to commute to TTC sites and meetings not accessible by transit.
