This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and expediting manufacturing activities within a custom architectural fabrication environment. This role serves as the critical link between project management, design, procurement, and shop floor operations to ensure that high-quality, custom products are delivered on schedule and within budget.The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication, metal finishing processes, and high-end architectural millwork, with a strong understanding of custom, project-based manufacturing.WHO ARE WE?At Eventscape, we build the extraordinary. We specialize in engineering, fabricating, and installing cutting-edge projects for top architects, designers, developers, contractors, and artists.POSITION OVERVIEWAs the Production Coordinator you will:RESPONSIBILITIESProduction Planning & CoordinationDevelop and maintain detailed production schedules for multiple concurrent custom fabrication projectsCoordinate workflow across departments including structural steel fabrication, millwork, finishing, and assemblyMonitor production progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks to maintain project timelinesCollaborate with Project Managers and Shop Supervisors to ensure alignment with project scope, sequencing, and deadlinesPrepare accurate material take-offs from architectural drawing sets, shop drawings, and production drawingsAnalyze project documentation to determine material quantities, finishes, hardware,



and fabrication requirementsSupport procurement and project teams with material forecasting and cost awarenessSource, evaluate, and qualify new vendors and subcontractors for fabrication, finishing, and specialty servicesSolicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors based on project scope and specificationsAnalyze quotes to ensure completeness, competitiveness, and technical complianceIssue purchase requests and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering of materials and servicesMaintain strong working relationships with vendors to support quality and schedule performanceCross-Functional CommunicationAct as the central communication point between design, procurement, finishing, and production teamsReview shop drawings, RFIs, and specifications to ensure production readinessTrack and communicate status updates, risks, and changes to internal stakeholdersMaterial & Process CoordinationCoordinate availability of raw materials, purchased components, and subcontracted servicesEnsure proper sequencing of fabrication, finishing, and assembly processesWork closely with finishing vendors and internal teams to manage:Paint systemsPowder coatingElectroplatingLogistics,



Packaging & DeliveryCoordinate packaging requirements to ensure product protection and compliance with project/site conditionsPlan and manage delivery logistics, including scheduling shipments, coordinating carriers, and tracking deliveriesWork with site teams and project managers to align delivery timing & sequence with installation schedulesEnsure proper documentation and labeling for shipmentsQuality & ComplianceSupport quality control processes to ensure products meet architectural specifications and standardsVerify that fabrication and finishing processes align with approved submittalsAssist in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actionsDocumentation & ReportingMaintain accurate production tracking logs, schedules, and job status reports.Update ERP or project management systems with real-time production data.Prepare production and procurement reports for management review.REQURIED QUALIFICATIONS3–7 years of experience in a custom manufacturing or fabrication environmentMetal finishing (paint, powder coating, anodizing, plating)High-end architectural millworkStrong understanding of custom, non-repetitive (engineered-to-order) production processesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specificationsExcellent organizational and multitasking skills in a quick-paced environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in architectural metal and millwork contracting or specialty fabricationFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling toolsKnowledge of finishing standards (AAMA, ASTM, AWS, etc.)Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is an asset
