This contract position runs until March 31, 2028, under the Maternal Child and Youth Health Team Manager.
Candidates should have a college diploma or extensive experience in land and water-based activities, alongside leadership or program development skills. Your contributions will ensure culturally safe practices while coordinating programs and fostering community engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop land-based services and support wellness models
- Facilitate land-based activities and cultural workshops
- Engage with cultural advisors to enhance programming
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
- Train staff and supervise student placements
Requirements:
- College diploma in outdoor education or related fields
- Minimum three years’ experience in relevant activities
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License
- Knowledge of Hodi:nohshoni culture
- First Aid/CPR certification
