Mixer Truck Driver Big projects. RM Mobile, a division of RMC Group of Companies, delivers on-site concrete production and delivery for large-scale builds across Western Canada, from remote wind farms to cutting-edge data centres to critical dams and bridges. We're currently hiring for a major project right here in Sturgeon County, giving you the chance to work on a high-profile build close to home.

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently hauling concrete from our mobile batch plant to the project pour site. Inspect the truck including checking fluids such as oil and antifreeze before starting in the morning in accordance with pre-trip inspection reports.

Fill truck with water by placing rubber hose in tank and prepare drum for concrete. Receive, file, and update delivery tickets as required. Check slumps and mix of concrete. Drive truck in safe manner to jobs arriving with desired slump.

Backup or pulls into jobsites, maneuvering truck in uneven and poor terrain. Place chutes from fender to main chute on rear of truck. Unload concrete in courteous,



protected, and efficient manner depending on site conditions.

Washes truck with hoses and brush in designated area per contractors. Refuels truck at end of shift and performs walk around post inspection Occasionally may utilize chipper to clean buildup of concrete in drum. Valid class 3 or class 1 drivers license with air brake endorsement. ~ Clean driving record evidenced by a clean abstract. ~ Ability to work long hours, overtime, and weekends. ~1-2 years of prior concrete truck driving experience is preferred.

Comfortable working alone as well as part of a team. Drivers work outdoors frequently in various weather conditions on ground that may be rough, muddy, or icy. There are high noise levels and significant vibration with potential exposure to cement, lime, concrete, dust, diesel fuel, etc.

Hours of work will vary based on project requirements, typically 8-12-hour shifts, and can include a combination of day shift, afternoon shift or night shift. Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
