The depth of our resources is evident in the variety of projects we construct; from water filtration to wastewater treatment; NAC is currently seeking a Mobile Crane Operator to join our Dalewood Water Reclamation Facility project in St. Under the direction of Civil Superintendent the Mobile Crane Operator is responsible for operating the crane and a in a safe and appropriate manner, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures.

This position requires knowledge of the heavy construction industry, specifically the practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, and safety associated with this industry.



Check and diagnose heavy equipment using approved circle check procedures before operating them to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order Advise site team of upcoming crane services Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting Assist in loading and unloading of equipment Instruct apprentices Must possess a Journeyperson Mobile Crane Operators certification Must have 5 years’ experience working in a heavy civil construction setting Must have experience operating 100 Ton RT Grove cranes Experience in flying gang forms, rebar and concrete is an asset Knowledge of equipment safety and maintenance techniques Must be able to work with little supervision; Comprehensive benefit plan (dental, vision, health, etc.) Employee & Family Assistance Program Excellent company matched pension plan Registered Retirement Savings Plans Community involvement opportunities If you feel that you need accommodations during the recruitment and selection process because of illness/disability, please contact Human Resources for further information #
