We are currently looking for an energetic, hard-working Packing Operator to work a permanent full-time position on our Midnight shift (Monday to Friday 15:00h-23:00h EST) at our Alliston facility ! Baxter is focused on saving and sustaining lives by manufacturing high-quality products. We strive to create quality products for our customers each day.

The following are dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning) - The Packing Operator is responsible for performing the following duties: set up case sealer, ensure machines are operating properly, move sterilized trucks from sterilized staging area to packing staging area, remove screens from trucks, unload sterilized products onto conveyor,
inspect and pack the viaflex units. Remove empty trucks to staging area and remove garbage from area. Move sterilized trucks from sterilized staging area to packing staging area - Remove screens from trucks - Inspect and pack the viaflex units - Remove empty trucks to staging area and remove garbage from area.
Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Positive Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) - Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur - Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested) - Manufacturing/Quality experience in a GMP environment - Experience in food or manufacturing industry - Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment (experience working in an assembly line seg is preferred) - Positive attitude, and an ability to work in a team setting with a focus on quality assurance and attention to detail You may also be entitled to a shift premiumfor all shift premium eligible hours which will be included in your bi-weekly pay. Shift premium pay is subject tochange and is at the sole discretion of the Company.
