MIW Vintage is a Toronto-based vintage furniture company specializing in curated mid-century modern furniture. We source unique vintage pieces, restore them when needed, and sell them through our online store, social media, and showroom.

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and hands-on person to join our team and help grow MIW’s online presence. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in vintage furniture, interior design, fashion, photography, social media, and e-commerce.

What You’ll Do

- Manage and update product listings on our Shopify store
- Upload new furniture, photos, dimensions, pricing, and product information
- Help keep our website and online inventory organized and up to date
- Create content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms
- Photograph and film furniture for social media and product listings
- Create Reels, Stories, and other short-form content
- Help develop creative ideas and campaigns that fit the MIW Vintage aesthetic
- Assist with Facebook Marketplace and other online sales channels
- Write and improve product descriptions, captions, and other marketing content
- Assist with basic SEO and optimizing product listings for search
- Help with email marketing and promotional campaigns
- Monitor social media performance and identify content that is performing well
- Assist with Meta/Facebook advertising and other digital marketing initiatives
- Help with general e-commerce and marketing tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is creative, reliable, organized,



and genuinely interested in design and social media.

You don’t need to have years of experience. We care more about your eye, creativity, initiative, and ability to learn.

Ideal candidates will have

- An interest in vintage furniture, interior design, fashion, photography, or design
- Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or other social platforms
- Basic experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform
- Strong photography and/or video skills, including smartphone content creation
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is an asset
- Good writing and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- An understanding of current social media trends
- A valuable sense of aesthetics and branding

Position Details

Position: Part-Time E-Commerce & Social Media Assistant

Location: Toronto, ON

Hours: Part-time, approximately 8–15 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible schedule, with some work required in person at our showroom/warehouse

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
