Contribute to community support with CMHA Kelowna & District as a part time Kitchen Assistant. Help prepare meals while maintaining kitchen cleanliness, organized under health standards. This role offers 18 hours a week, working Tuesday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Meals Matter Program by assisting cooks and ensuring a clean and safe kitchen workplace. Previous kitchen experience and FoodSafe Certification are assets that can enhance your application. Key Responsibilities:

- Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment
- Maintain an organized and compliant kitchen space
- Assist with food preparation as directed
- Store ingredients properly according to instructions
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Clearance from Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Sector
- Kitchen experience is beneficial
- FoodSafe Certification is an asset
- Effective communication skills with team members
- Flexibility to meet kitchen scheduling needs
