Responsibilities:

Operate brake press to fabricate & form products

Perform loading and unloading of material by changing tools

Perform various fabrication techniques such as: bending, shearing, punching, and notching of metal components

Use vernier caliper to conduct measurements, perform manual layout and bend deduction calculations

Work with sheet metal gauge range from 26 Ga to 12 Ga thickness

Prioritize production to ensure customer orders are completed on time

Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on brake press

Inspect all manufactured parts following work

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

3-5 years Brake Press Operation experience

Must be able read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints





Strong math & measuring skills

High school diploma / GED / or equivalent preferred

Heavy lifting of 50lbsAttention to detail skills

Strict adherence to safety practices and procedures

Able to multitask, work in a team and independently with minimal supervision

Compensation and Hours:

Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm

Pay Rate: $25-30 per hour (based on experience)
