About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer with a specialization in Logistics and Supply Chain to join their team in East London . This role will focus on sourcing and managing services related to transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring the efficient flow of goods. You will play a key part in negotiating contracts, optimizing logistics costs, and building strong relationships with service providers.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the logistics landscape and a proven ability to drive value through strategic procurement within this critical operational area. Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for logistics services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution. Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Develop and maintain solid relationships with key logistics partners and suppliers.



Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and import/export requirements. Monitor supplier performance and work to resolve any service-related issues.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics services with overall supply chain operations. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement , with a specific focus on logistics or supply chain services. Proven experience in negotiating contracts for transportation and warehousing services.
