John's, Newfoundland, builds AI software that insurance carriers, independent medical examiners, and legal teams use to review medical records in claims. We handle some of the most sensitive data there is, so security and privacy shape every product decision we make.
Our PMs lead projects rather than owning fixed product areas. A single project often touches several parts of the platform at once, such as document processing, AI analysis, reporting, and customer configuration, and the projects you lead will change as customer needs and company priorities change.
This role is forward deployed, which means you'll work directly with customers. You'll own the relationship with a set of priority accounts: you'll onboard them, configure the platform for their workflows, train their teams, and be their main contact for how the product works for them. What you learn from those accounts goes straight into what we build.
As we develop the next generation of our product, we want the people deciding what to build to be the people who know our customers best. Your accounts are where you learn what to build, and the goal is a product that works better for every customer. Expect to split your time roughly 40% on your accounts and 60% on product work.
Customer requests, sales feedback, and technical constraints will often conflict, and there usually won't be an existing process or a clear answer. We need someone who can work out which problems matter most, make a decision with incomplete information, and get the work shipped. You'll own your projects from the first customer conversation through launch and iteration, including the tasks that don't fall under anyone's job title.
You look at the product, the customers, and the business, and you come back with a view on what should happen next.
You call the customer, read the support tickets, check the data, or ask the engineer who built it.
You judge your work by whether it shipped and whether customers use it, not by how polished the spec was.
You like working with customers. You're comfortable running a training session for a room of claims reviewers in the morning and working through a technical trade-off with engineers in the afternoon.
You'll do the unglamorous work when it's needed: sitting in on support calls, testing a release, writing help docs.
you prefer a defined roadmap handed to you, you want a large product org with established processes, you're mainly interested in strategy without execution, or you'd rather not work directly with customers and travel for onsite sessions.
Own the relationship with a set of priority accounts, including onboarding, training, and ongoing work on how they use the product.
Configure SiftMed end to end for your accounts, including document types, templates, and review workflows, and know their setup better than anyone else at the company.
Run onsite and virtual training and onboarding sessions for customer teams.
Lead projects that span several parts of the product, from scoping through launch, and decide what gets built, what gets cut, and why. Work with the other PMs and leadership to set the overall roadmap and decide which projects come next.
Turn what you learn from your accounts and the wider customer base into clear requirements and success metrics, and work with engineering and AI/ML through launch.
Make trade-offs between customer requests, sales commitments, technical debt, and privacy and security requirements, and explain those decisions clearly.
Measure whether what shipped worked, and act on the results.
Write down what works in your accounts, such as configuration patterns, training material, and common requests, so the rest of the team and future customers benefit from it.
Shadow our team on existing priority accounts. Sit in on customer calls, onboarding sessions, and configuration work, and learn the product in depth.
Take over your own set of accounts as their primary contact, and run their configuration, training, and onboarding sessions yourself.
Lead your first cross-product project, using what you've learned from your accounts to decide what to build.
Ship at least one product change based on what you heard from your accounts within the first 3 months.
Own your accounts end to end and form a view on what we should build next.
Experience owning customer relationships directly, whether as a PM or in implementation, solutions, onboarding, or customer success.
You’ve worked closely with engineers and can take part in technical trade‑off discussions.
You use data to make decisions and know when the data isn’t enough.
You've used AI tools in your own work, for prototyping, research, or analysis.
