Willing and able to work overtime on short notice.
- Physical effort is required when lifting, carrying and handling boxes of records and other various materials up to 20 kilograms.
- Willing and able to work onsite in an office setting five days a week. EDUCATION:
- Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Training courses / on-the-job training relevant to the position being staffed. EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in providing administrative services in an office environment- Experience in providing services to public or internal clients.
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, and email (such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook). Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
PERSONAL SUITABILITY:
- Dependability;- Respectful of diversity;- Language requirements (essential for the job) ASSETS) EXPERIENCE:
- Experience preparing and coordinating travel arrangements in a travel system such as, but not limited to, Global Business Travel etc.
- Experience processing financial transactions (reconciling invoices, processing payments, etc)- Experience using financial software programs, such as but not limited to, SAP.
- Experience in providing services to or working with First Nations, Inuit or Metis people, communities, or organizations in a skilled setting, which could include but is not limited to, work, school, or volunteer setting.
- Experience providing general information and services to clients in-person, by telephone or in writing.
- Experience working with sensitive material. ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:
