The Floor Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing daily food service operations and ensuring shift performance, operational standards and service expectations are consistently achieved in the Food Service Outlets. This role provides leadership to front-line staff, make real-time operational decisions, ensures standards are maintained, supports staffing and scheduling needs, and is responsible for inventory control and ordering. The Floor Supervisor leads by example and provides excellent customer service for the patrons of Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. They also act as Manager on duty in the absences of Food Service Management, supporting business continuity, resolving escalations and coordinating with internal departments. The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Provide effective service while maintaining exceptional customer service standards for Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre and Food Service Outlets Perform opening and closing duties for the department, including ensuring staff are following opening and closing checklists, counting floats, processing deposits, identifying deficiencies, and correcting them Use positioning charts to assign primary and secondary duties for staff during each shift and follow up to ensure tasks are completed Conduct pre-shift meetings for both AM and PM shifts Operate cash registers and process accurate customer payments, including
