About the Role

You will be part of an ambitious team that delivers across the marine energy industry, including installations of marine renewable devices, mooring installations, cable operations, float-outs and salvage. The Project Engineering team supports clients from conceptual design stages all the way through tank testing, procurement, vessel management, procedure development and execution. The project engineering team work to deliver safe, effective, cost effective and excellent solutions and operations. A Tadek Project Engineer interfaces with the Client, suppliers, Marine Warranty and Tadek Team throughout and represents the company while facing a wide range of stakeholders, providing the technical authority for the Project.

Core Responsibilities

- Responsibility for writing Procedures, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, including development of methods alongside Operational personnel to ensure safe and effective execution of Operations
- Storyboarding,



site planning and component layout drawings are completed within AutoCAD during the planning phase and a sound understanding of AutoCAD or other 2D drawing software is required
- On‑Site support for operations including Draughting, MOCs, DPRs, methods and procedural discussions and documentation, risk assessments & HIRA / HAZOPS
- Validate developments on Site and propose appropriate improvements compliant to HSEQ standards, interfacing with Offshore Management and Vessel Masters
- Rigging & Seafastening calculations aligned with the relevant standards & guidelines such as DNV, BV and API
- Responsible for the delivery of engineering deliverables in accordance with the Project schedule, quality and other specific project requirements

Education & Experience

- Experience of, or exposure to offshore projects, supporting operations and ensuring successful execution
- Experience and knowledge of Offshore codes & standards such as DNV-ST-N001
- Knowledge of Mooring systems, Cable systems, Transportation & Installation operations

Skills

- 2D CAD experience is essential, with proficiency in AutoCAD or other 2D draughting software

Attributes

- Autonomy and capacity to coordinate across various and diverse teams
- Excellent communication skills; you will lead various presentations, interface directly with clients, suppliers and stakeholders and give/receive training on the job
- Fluent in English (spoken & written)
- Location: Hayle, Cornwall (office base with hybrid/remote flexibility).
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week).



Additional hours may be required during project execution phases.
- Travel: International travel including offshore/off-site locations may be required.
