SYSTRA Canada is part of the SYSTRA group, an international consulting and engineering group, a world leader in the design of transport infrastructures. SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway. We are looking for a Project Quality Lead to provide site support, ensure compliance with quality requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement throughout the project.

Attend the site regularly to verify the implementation of inspection and test plans and ensure the quality of work execution. Track quality KPIs, manage non-conformities, and oversee the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions. Perform supplier qualification and evaluation activities, including First Article Inspections (FAI), and prepare the corresponding reports.

Define, plan, and carry out on-site quality audits, while delivering training to the relevant stakeholders. Prepare and maintain the project quality plan. Review subcontractors’ Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Contribute to the qualification and selection of subcontractors. Deliver training on project quality requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,



Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or in a related field. 5 to 10 years of experience in a project quality management role.

Technical skills: Proven experience in the railway sector, in a manufacturing plant or on a construction site, ideally involving locomotive projects, as well as in supplier quality. Demonstrated experience in managing and performing First Article Inspections (FAI), including the application of acceptance criteria and visual and dimensional inspections. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Ability to produce follow-up reports with photographic documentation and to use digital site tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English* *Reason for the bilingual requirement: You will have the chance to work with a diverse client base, including both French-speaking and English-speaking companies.
