intra-dialysis and post-dialysis periods Operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols.
This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis. Shifts of work will be scheduled days from 07:00 to 19:00 hours.
Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses with the full range of current licensed practical nursing competencies, and successful completion of a Health Authority Hemodialysis Training program plus one (1) year recent related experience working as a Licensed Practice Nurse in acute care, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
