you join a company that puts people first.DAY IN THE LIFE:Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresOperate rig equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and partsFit bearings, aligning gears and shafts, attaching motorsAlign and test the equipment and make any necessary adjustmentsPerform preventive and operational maintenance, and repair or replace defective parts when necessaryParticipate in on-call duties as requiredKeep up to date with all Precision Drillings' core values, key beliefs, and safety cultureWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:Current enrolled as a third- or fourth-year millwright/industrial mechanic apprentice, or actively hold Registered Red Seal Journeyman Millwright certification3-5 years of experience in an industrial mechanical capacityPrevious experience working in Oil & Gas sector is requiredMust have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a driver's abstractHave the physical strength required to work with heavy equipmentHave a solid understanding of OHS regulations, WHMIS, and the importance of PPE on the worksite
