Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for a strong full-cycle accounting skilled who has solid month-end experience and can also support or contribute to an ERP implementation/project.Downtown Toronto, ON | HybridKey ResponsibilitiesPerform full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closePrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entriesComplete account reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesPrepare monthly financial reporting and supporting schedulesAssist with financial analysis and reporting requirementsSupport the accounting team with process improvements and reporting initiativesParticipate in or provide accounting support for an ERP implementationAssist with testing, data validation, process mapping,



and system-related accounting activitiesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial informationRequirements5+ years of full-cycle accounting experienceCPA/CA designation or currently pursuing CPAStrong experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reportingSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial processesExperience working with an ERP systemStrong Excel skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentNice to HaveExperience supporting an ERP implementation or system migrationExperience with process improvement and accounting system implementations
