As a Cook in our Long-Term Care residence, you will oversee meal preparation and serve residents with care. Your experience in a supervisory role will guide Food Services Workers, ensuring excellence in food quality and safety. This role calls for a passion for meal preparation and the ability to address resident concerns, providing an essential service in our community-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals efficiently according to dietary needs
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
Respond to resident or family dietary concerns




Direct and train Food Services Workers in their duties
Ensure compliance with special diet orders as needed

Requirements:
Experience as a Cook, preferably in a supervisory role
Current Secure Food Handling Certificate
High school education preferred, with diploma in food preparation
Strong understanding of food quality and safety regulations
Excellent communication skills for resident interactions
