Course: MSAK 2 Lecture
Course Description:
This course provides a detailed study of the kinesiology of the upper extremity, lower extremity, head, neck, and trunk, including all their joints. There will be a detailed study of the articular surfaces forming the joints, the ROM of the joints and different groups of muscles acting on the joints. This course will also introduce students to muscle testing,
posture and gait biomechanics. The Kinesiology concepts in this course will build on the musculoskeletal anatomy covered in MSAK1.

Hours: 84 hours (3-hour sessions roughly twice/week over 15 weeks)

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Health Science Degree or bachelor’s degree in another health science discipline. 2 year of experience.
Robust understanding of pathology, foundational understanding of common medications and surgeries.

Strong organizational skills
MS office knowledge including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
