North of Brooklyn Pizzeria is looking for an experienced Pizza Maker to join our team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about food, works well in a quick-paced setting, and takes pride in producing high-quality pizzas consistently.
Responsibilities
Stretch pizza dough
Build and cook pizzas according to company recipes and standards
Safely operate and work with a stone pizza oven
Launch pizzas into the oven, monitor the baking process, and rotate pizzas as needed to ensure proper cooking
Remove, cut, and finish pizzas according to company standards
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
Manage and maintain your station independently during service
Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
Previous pizza-making experience is required
Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen is required
Solid attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work well under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Food Handler Certification is considered an asset
