Overview

Join the team at Ashkadeh Farahzad, a Persian soup and sandwich shop in North Vancouver, as a Kitchen Helper. You’ll support the kitchen team with food preparation, dishwashing, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. This is a paid position and a great opportunity to gain experience in a friendly, quick-paced food service environment.

Duties
Help with food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients
Assist with meal assembly during service
Clean kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment
Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
Follow food safety, storage, sanitation, and workplace safety practices
Work with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly

Requirements
Reliable and punctual




Available to work during the day and on weekends
Able to work extended shifts and stand for long periods
Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
Positive attitude and valuable teamwork skills
Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not required
Basic food preparation skills and food safety knowledge are an asset
