Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Weekend Custodian to ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming during weekend hours. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our church building, supporting facilities maintenance needs, and ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and visitors alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for everyone who enters our premises.

Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, lobbies, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards, and report or address them promptly
Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles by emptying and replacing liners regularly
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards
Follow established health and safety guidelines to maintain a protected working setting for yourself and others





Experience
Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including the use of commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Solid attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment

Pay: $18.75-$20.00 per hour
