We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling medical records with precision, and providing exceptional administrative support to healthcare providers. Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive and professional front desk experience
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently to appropriate staff members
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history with accuracy
Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
Assist with billing procedures, insurance claims, and payment processing as needed
Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms,
handling medical supplies, and managing administrative tasks related to patient care
Experience
Prior experience working in a dental or medical office environment is highly preferred
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix is essential
Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and procedures
Demonstrated experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a healthcare setting
Office experience involving multi-line phone systems, appointment scheduling, and administrative support
Familiarity with dental office workflows and medical office procedures is a plus
Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting

Pay: $17.60-$26.50 per hour
