The successful candidate will have reliable transportation to get on site at any time of the day or night. The selected candidate will not work on a fixed schedule but will be required to be available and may be provided with 24 hours notice for an upcoming shift.

Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain light and heavy maintenance equipment such as: patrol trucks, salt/plow trucks, tractors, loaders, plows, spreaders.
Available for nightshift, 7 days a week, with the frequency of work determined by snowfall.
Maintain accurate records of work performed including, but not limited to: pre-trips, fuel reports, safety reports and hours of service, and all required winter maintenance documentation
Must be capable of self-loading the truck
Must have 3 years of a Clean Driving Record
Must be able to use loader, backhoe, and skid steer
Please note that experience is required and mandatory as you will be expected to have pre-existing knowledge of the nature of the role.

Requirements:




Must be physically fit and capable.
Able to work outdoors in various conditions including but not limited to extreme cold, rain, noise and wet/damp conditions.
Able to safely work in a quick-paced workplace near heavy equipment/vehicles.
Able to work as an effective team member with excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a responsible and dependable manner.
Available to work long hours, day and night, including weekends and holidays.
Equipment Operators’ certificate is an asset but not required
G License Required
Class DZ or AZ license is an asset

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Snow plowing: 2 years (required)

Air Brake Endorsement (required)
