We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant background who can provide software support to our clients in a non-pharmacy workplace, on a full time basis.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for answering first-level software support questions for pharmacy related issues
Ability to identify problems related to software by researching possible solutions and guiding the client through corrective steps, while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and service
Accurately document, troubleshoot and log all work performed, using the internal ticketing system
Identify specific issues and escalate the related problem to the appropriate department
Follow up with clients and make scheduled return calls for any outstanding inquiries
Provide customers with outstanding customer care and service at all times by maintaining a positive, professional attitude and behavior
Maintain current knowledge on technological innovations, changes and updates
Required Skills:
Able to troubleshoot technical problems and determine the root cause in a fast-paced environment
Good computer knowledge, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Must have strong customer service skills and be support oriented
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Must be fluent in English (verbal, written, comprehension)
Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
Self-motivated with a thirst for knowledge
Capable of meeting required deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
Must be willing to work a rotational shift, including weekend
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an Ontario Community College Certificate program for Pharmacy Technicians and/or
2 to 3 years experience working with dispensing software, within a pharmacy environment
Working knowledge of one of the following Pharmacy Systems (Nexxsys, Kroll, Fillware, Flexipharm, Health Watch)
Ability to speak Arabic is an asset
Ontario Driver's License (G2) and access to a vehicle
